VILLASTELLONE PRIMARY CLASSES

CLASS 3B Villastellone - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for ROMANIA.

My classroom is on the first floor of the school, is wide and has two big windows.

At first we can see the school yard that run along the building. We can also see a row of horse chestnuts which have different shade of colours: from brown to yellow, to red and some sprinkle of green, all this tell us that the autumn season is coming.

The school yard is enclosed by a barrier with a grey iron railing on it.

Further there is an asphalted road where you can see a row of small villas with yellow walls or red bricks. They have sloping roofs and the roofing tiles are red, the windows’ shutters are brown. Behind there is a grey building which gives a bit of sadness nevertheless the blue sky is shining. There are some clouds but we are not frightened.

CLASS 3C Villastellone - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for UK.

Our classroom is on the first floor; outside our window we can see the school yard which is mostly covered by a carpet of synthetic green. The school yard is enclosed by a barrier with a grey railing on it.

Between the carpet and the railing there is a row of five horse chestnuts and there are two pines close to the door of the gymnasium.

By this time the leaves of the horse chestnuts are almost dry and they have all the tonalities of the brown colour.

There is a gate in the alley along the tailing, on the other side there is a yellow house with four windows, a front door and a door on the only balcony.

The house has a courtyard with tiles and a big kitchen garden.

On the background we can see a big villa and furthermore a condominium of six floors.

Today is an autumn day, the sky is blue with a lot of small white clouds that look like small sheep.

CLASS 4A Villastellone - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for TURKEY.

Outside our classroom window we can see the school yard that we use in the break when the sun is shining.

The school yard is rectangular with synthetic grass.

On our left we see a side of a building with wide windows, on the other side there is the railing enclosed by horse chestnuts and two pines.

In front there is a blind alley with small villas with gardens and kitchen gardens.

On the background we can see the buildings and the supermarket.

CLASS 4B Villastellone - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for POLAND.

The courtyard of the school is rectangular: it borders on three sides with the school building whilst one of the longest side it borders on a small road. Beyond it there are the houses of our village.

If you look about you will see a sidewalk along the school building, there is also an area covered by synthetic green , there is also a garden plot and after all a railing made by a low wall with a railing on it.

In the garden there is a row with five horse chestnuts that are almost high as our school building and now they are already without leaves. On the side of those trees there are two red pines very high too.

On the sidewalk of the shorter sides you can find the dustbins. On the opposite side instead there is a small staircase ant the canteen’s door.

We reach the school yard through a door with four steps, on the opposite side, in front of the door, there is a gate that goes on the small road.

5 years old Villastellone Viale Signorini Nursery School - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for Greece and Hungary.

Outside our school window we can see the garden, the trees, our toys: a slide, a little house, a little train and a swing.

Today it is sunny and there are some clouds.

The trees have still the leaves.

At the end of our garden there is a hedge. Beyond the edge there is a beautiful park (called Levà Park), where we play with our friends.

Hello! We are pupils from Italy!

Our school, the “Secondo Circolo” of Carmagnola includes five school buildings located in three different towns and villages about 25 kilometres from Turin: Carmagnola, Villastellone and Pralormo.

There are three primary schools (one for each village) and two nursery schools (both in Villastellone).

Only the school in Carmagnola (with 8 primary school classes) and the schools in Villastellone (4 primary school classes and 2 nursery classes) are involved in the project.

Carmagnola has got about 30,000 inhabitants. Our primary school is in the town centre. It is an area where there are a lot of other schools, for this reason you can reach it only on foot during school entry and exit times.

Villastellone has got about 5,000 inhabitants. The primary school is located in the main street in the village centre. The Via Cossolo nursery school is located in the same street, 300 metres from the primary school. The Viale Signorini nursery school is in a residential area situated opposite a beautiful park.

CARMAGNOLA PRIMARY CLASSES

CLASSES 2A and 2B Carmagnola - WHAT’S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for GREECE.

First floor.

I can see a big unevenly shaped playground. It’s tiled in grey and red; there’s a fence on one side and another school on the other side.

Inside there are two spaces with trees and flowers. There are wooden benches and tables. The only playground games in it are two wooden climbing frames.

Over the fence I can see a tower and a basketball court.

CLASS 2C Carmagnola – WHAT'S OUTSIDE THE WINDOW? – description for SPAIN.

Ground floor.

Out of the window we can see our playground. Its floor is covered with grey and pinkish paving stones. There are two wooden benches in it.

Opposite, beyond the playground, there is a nursery school with a garden to the left. It’s a brown building and it has got four big windows. There is a dark green gate between our playground and the garden.

Behind the nursery school there is a path and beyond it we can see a very old ancient castle with a tall tower.

On the right of the nursery school there is the playground of another primary school. In it there are some horse chestnut trees.

On the right side of our playground there is a part of our school which borders the other primary school.

On the left of our playground, there is a garden with two climbing frames and a table with two benches on either side of it. The garden, where there are also many trees and some bushes, is surrounded by an iron fence. Over the fence there is a basketball court.

CLASSE 3 A – WHAT'S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW? – description for POLAND.

First floor.

Our classroom has got a wall with big bright windows that face the inside playgrounds of our school and of another one.

In foreground, further down, to the right we can see part of our playground with its beige and grey stone tiles. We can also see the horse shoe – shaped playground of the other primary school which is called “Primo Circolo”.

Six majestic horse-chestnuts shade two opposite sides of this playground and in the middle we can see some children who are playing with some soil and are running after one other.

Nearly in the middle, opposite our windows, we can see one of the ochre rectangular-shaped fronts of the other school. The building, which is on two floors, is illuminated by two windows on each floor, through which we can catch a glimpse of teachers, children and people going along the corridors that lead to the classrooms.

Further down, to the left, there is the nursery school gate.

If we look further to the left we can see another part of our playground and our school garden in which gigantic trees rise up with their golden leaves. They almost hide two climbing frames, a table and three wooden benches.

Behind these we can see an iron fence that separates the two schools; beyond it there is the nursery school lawn with some games and toys on it.

Further up, to the right, behind the brown tiled roof of the “Primo Circolo”, we can see the green leaves of the plane-trees along Corso Sacchirone which act as a frame to the Collegiate Church bell tower.

Further up, to the left, we can see the watch-tower of the very old castle in our town. Today it is the seat of the Town Hall.

The background of this view is surrounded by a wonderful blue sky, with soft white clouds. It’s a warm, sunny autumn day.

What we can see outside our class window gives us a feeling of peace and quietness.

CLASS 3B Carmagnola - WHAT'S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW? – description for UK.

First floor.

If we look straight out of our window, in the centre and on the right we can see a large rectangular courtyard paved with red and grey tiles. Further right, a wing of our school building borders the playground.

On the left we can see part of a courtyard with two very big trees and between them is a climbing frame.

In the background to the left we can see the fence that separates our playground from another school’s playground. Beyond it there is a nice green lawn, many trees and some toys and games.

Further left we can see another gate and beyond it there is a concrete platform on which you can play basketball or go skating. In the centre we can see the front of the other school: it is orange and has got four windows, two on each floor.
On the right there is a rectangular clay playground surrounded by big horse chestnut trees with brown leaves.

In the background on left there is the tower of Carmagnola’s medieval castle, which now houses the Town Hall offices. It is a brick building and on the top there is a large window. In the distance we can see a cross on the roof of a church. Everything is framed by an autumn sky.

In the background right over the roofs of the nearby school the tops of the plane trees which line the avenue peep out. We can also see the brick bell tower of the Collegiate church. It is shaped like a parallelepiped and has got a sloping roof with a lightning rod on it.

CLASS 3C Carmagnola - WHAT'S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW? – description for HUNGARY.

First floor.

Hello! We are class 3C from the Italian school in Carmagnola

We are looking out of our classroom window and we can see…

In the foreground we can see the big schoolyard where we go and play in the afternoon: on the right there are grey and pink tiles, on the left it’s covered in earth and grass.

On the left there are three big trees which still have many green leaves, but some leaves are already yellow and brown. Between two of the trees there is a climbing frame which we climb on and we spin round on. It is shaped like a hexagonal prism and it’s made of wood with yellow iron bars.

Beyond there is the nursery school playground where the little pupils play, and there is a wing of our neighbouring school, the “Primo Circolo” : it’s a big orange-brown building which has got two floors. On the ground floor there is the canteen door. The first and second floors have got two windows each, one of them is narrow and the other one is wide; both the windows are made of white iron.

In the background we can see the old Town Hall Tower. It’s a big parallelepiped made of reddish bricks; its roof is shaped like a pyramid and it’s covered in brown tiles. There is a window almost on the top of the tower, which protected by an iron net to keep the birds out.

Above everything we can see the blue sky and the sun.

CLASS 5 B – WHAT’S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW? – description for TURKEY.

Our classroom is on the ground floor.

Outside our classroom window we can see the school yard.

On our left there are some trees with green, yellow and red leaves; there is also a small peach-tree.

Beyond the school yard there is a basketball court and a skateboard ramp.

In the background we can see the bell tower of an old castle.

In the middle of the school yard there are some trees: a big plane tree and two horse chestnuts. There is a wooden table and a bench.

Between two of the trees there is a climbing frame and few metres further back there is another one.

In the background there is the nursery school yard.

In the foreground on the right we can see only a part of an orange building, which is another primary school.

To the right of the playground there is the canteen and the school gate.

CLASS 5 C – WHAT’S OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW? – description for ROMANIA.

Our classroom is situated on the ground floor of the school building.

Out of our window we can see the school playground. It is very big.

On the left there is a garden with some trees, whose leaves, in this season (autumn), are green, yellow and brown. In the garden there are two climbing frames that we love playing on. There is a fence around the garden. Beyond it there is a court where we do a lot of sports (in particular basketball, football and skating).

Opposite our window, at the end of the playground, we can see a nursery school. It is a brown building.

On its left there is a garden.

Behind the nursery school, in the distance, we can see Carmagnola’s old castle with its tall tower. Now it is the Town Hall.

On the right of the nursery school there is another primary school’s garden. Further right, we can see the building of this school that communicates with ours.

DESCRIPTION FROM TURKEY

DESCRIPTION OF 5A (for U.K, Spain and Italy)

When I look through the window, the first thing I realize is the garden of our “U” shaped school building. On the left there are a lot of flowerpots. They are all gren. On the right there are two flags – one of which is our national and the other is called white flag, which was given us last year by the governorship. It symbolizes tidiness and cleanliness. Near the flags, there is a statue of Atatürk, our great leader. Just the opposite, there is a playground, some boys are playing soccer, two girls are skipping rope, a boy is climbing the garden wall. The first thing I have noticed about the wall is its disturbing colourless face.

Beyond the school garden, there is a huge gap on a cloudy day. Beside its largeness, it is quite messy. The plants are playing with the wind like a naughty children. It is such deserted place that people only remember here when they need to trash out. When you look around carefully, there stands a tree raising its braches up to the sky as if it wanted to speak out its loneliness and its unhappiness among the trash piles. Just to spite this scene, three floor villas, beige and brown with their small balconies, lies on the left. Their gardens are well organized with little trees. When I look slightly into the right, there are a lot of long trees following a route to a ruined house on the right. Behind villas, trees and the ruined house there is a highway scarcely seen.

The farthest scene I realize belongs to high mountains coloured in blue-like green, whose summits are hidden by cloud banks. On the mountain foot, there are small villages hardly getting into my sight.

DESCRIPTION OF 5C (for Poland and Greece)

When I look outside my school window, the first thing I see is two small green trees in our school garden. Behind the trees there is a low garden wall with iron bars attached on it. Along the wall outside there is a path with dust. On the right side of the view, there is a two fold pink house. It has a brown roof with white two windows on each flor. This house also has a small garden filled with small fruit trees. I can see other houses’ brown roofs above this small house. Just in the middle of the view there is a wide field –non agricultured, covered with dired yellow and light brown short grass. The boudaries of this field are defined by lines of short trees around.

Behind the field, I see a school called “Science High School”. A quite modern building with its school garden is standing just in front of me. The building is white with red upright stripes on its wall from bottom to the top. On the left of the school there is a two fold white small house. I can see hardly see its blue garden gates and two cherry trees in its garden.

On the horizon, low mountains are lying from left into the right along the scene. Above the mountains light blue clouds cover the sky like a smooth sheet.

DESCRIPTION OF 4A (for Romania and Hungary)

This is front view of our school that I see from the window. There are two short green trees grown up to the window as if I could touch them if I tried to reach. The narrow school garden ends with a low wall iron bars on it. Just outside the wall, a dustful path follows it. Across the path a road reaches our school on the right derived from the street.

On the other side of the path, there are lots of five-floor buildings coloured in white. They have two balconies on each flor, most of the balconies are covered with blue balecloth around. There are also clothes hung on the balconies to dry. These buildings have narrow gardens and they lie closely to the left. There are several trees in their gardens pine, apricot, etc. On the right side of the view, some workers are building a house with a garden. The house is almost complete with its three floors. Behind this new house there are five-floor buildings again and furthermore there is the sky, blue partly coulds spread out on it.

From the window of the year 2 classroom we can see the red football pitch with some trees around it. On the other side of the road we can see a row of low houses and a fountain. Behind the houses we can see the marshes of the Odiel river with a lot of water and plants. In the distance, on the other side of the marshes we can make out a village.

We love looking through the window!!!

By year 2

Description 2 for Italy and Greece.

We are the Year 4 students and we are describing what we see outside our classroom window.
We see a lot of very beautiful things. We are very fortunate because not all students in Huelva see the marshes of the Odiel river.
The first thing we see are: the football pitch, basketballs pitch and a big area with grass where we play our outside games.
We also see the end of the Odiel river, many plants, a very long bridge that we take to get to the beaches of Huelva, and further, we see a very small village called Corrales.

By year 4

Description 3 for Poland and Turkey

From the window in our classroom we can see the Odiel River and the marshes around it. It is a swampy, flat terrain. We can see the different branches of the river, some are wider and some are thinner. In some places the ground is covered with water when the tide is in, and when the tide is out you can see some islands.
Sometimes we can see estuary birds, such as flamingos and herons, in the distance.
We love seeing the marsh every day because it is beautiful. When it is hot we wish we could swim. During sunrise, the sky is orange.

By year 5

Description 4 for Romania and Hungary

Our school is on the slope of a small hill. From the window of our classroom we can see a beautiful landscape, the marshes of the Odiel river. The first thing we can see is our playground, which has trees and a red football pitch. Behind the fence there is a road, and on the other side of the road there is a row of low houses with white walls and red roofs. Behind the houses we can see an empty plot of land and then the green grass and blue water of the marshes of the River. Sometimes, we can see some birds like flamingos and herons. In the distance, on the other side of the marshes we can make out two small villages. We can also see an immense blue sky.

Description 1 for UK and Spain

Our school is in a quiet area. Looking out the window we can see the endless blue sky with a few small white clouds and the bright sun. Furthermore we can see a diversity of trees some big and others rather small but all covered with bright green leaves. One of them is an olive tree. We can also see four houses in the background, which are hiding behind the trees letting us see only their rooftops made of tiles. We can also see the cables of electricity where some birds rest on.

Our school is in a quiet area.When looking out our window, we can see our rather big school yard which has white gravel on the ground and in which there is big palm tree. Our school yard is also surrounded by a fence made of stones. Just behind our yard there is a large beige house with windows covered with white shades. We can also notice a man standing at the door. The house has a yard with a smaller palm tree on the side. There is also a variety of trees in the garden and some red flowers. Unfortunately we can only see a little piece of the sky as we have a roof right above our window. Today the sky is blue with some white clouds.

Our school is in a quiet area.When looking out our window, we see our school yard, which has white gravel on the ground and on the right side a pathway made of paving tiles. We see our play yard and the stone fence that surrounds our whole school yard. There is also a big grey iron door and a smaller one on the right at the end of the pathway made of paving tiles.We also see big and small trees, two palm trees, bushes and red and pink flowers. Outside the fence we see the road with a few cars. Near there is a big house and some others a little bit far. A small blue sign shows the name of the road. Moreover we see columns of electricity. From our window we can also see the sky. Today the sky is blue with some white clouds.

Hello! We are the pupils of OVÁI ÉS PSZI, Orosháza, Hungary. Our school is in the town centre so it is busy. On the other side, it is situated next to the market so it is noisy on market days. As our town is located in the Great Plain, the landscape is flat. Here are two views seen by our pupils.

 

View1 to the brick wall and the market place: Description for Romania, Turkey, England and Spain
Just outside our window we can see a ruined brick wall, a bike shed and lawn along the brick wall. Behind that we can see a grey concrete surface for a market place with a green fence around it. In the far distance there are some trees, houses and cars in the road. The landscape is flat.

View 2 to the main street: Description for Italy, Greece and Poland
As we look out of our window we can see some tall trees with colourful falling leaves and lawn. Beyond that we can see a road and a car park with some cars. Behind the car park there is a small park with a small fountain and flowers. In the distance there is a block of flats with balconies and shops under the flats. It is sunny and the sky is blue. The landscape is flat.

Description for Poland - view from Class DM 

Just outside the window there are some trees and bushes with a bird table between them.  Just past these bushes is a grey, concrete path.  On the other side of the path is grass and some daisies.  It is a bit muddy.  Just past that we can see a silver metal fence that is taller than the children.  On the other side of the fence there is a park with a basketball court.  In the distance, across the park, we can see some houses.

As we look out of our classroom window we can see a small squared concrete area with a small patch of grass on the left and some large green bushes on the right.  Behind this area there is a short brown wooden fence.  Behind the brown fence is a children’s play area which has a pink toy house, some red scooters, a blue slide and lots colourful toy cars.  There is a building next to the play area.  The building is a pre-school where young children play and learn.  Behind the pre-school and just to the left we can see the junior playground and our school field.  Far in the distance we can see the road with moving cars.

Description for Hungary - view from Class RA

Just outside our window is the large, grey playground which has coloured lines and patterns painted on it. There is a netball post at each end and three bins to put our rubbish in. Beyond that is our field of dark green grass, where the children do their PE lessons. There is a large tree and some of its leaves are turning golden and red. Behind that is a high fence that has bushes along it. There is a three storey block of flats which has whirligig washing lines full of clothes in the gardens. To the right of the flats are some parked cars and bicycles.

Right in front of the window are some small green bushes.  There is a bigger bush with reddish brown leaves on the left.

Next you can see the big playground which is grey.  There is a big 100 number square on it. Also there are some little yellow squares and circles.

Beyond that is the adventure play area.  It has a wooden bridge, some stepping blocks and a narrow beam to walk along.

To the right, past the playground, are some tyres to play on.  Next to this is a small hill covered in grass, with some trees on it.

Finally there is a tall blue fence around the edge of the school grounds, with a gate leading to a footpath outside.

Description for Romania - view from Class DS

Out of our window we can see the ramp that we walk down at the end of the day.  There are paths and some trees with red berries.  We can see some of the toys that we play with and the shed we keep them in.  Our outdoor shelter with its bright blue roof is just in front of the wooden fence that keeps us all safe.

Behind the fence is grass and a hedge.  Also we can see the old, big, oak tree where the crows live.

 

Description for Greece - view from Class AR

Right outside our window there is a big tree with green leaves.  We can also see the junior playground where there are some children playing hockey.  There is an adventure playground next to the junior playground too.  There is a big field on the left of our classroom where all the children like to play.  Behind the fence there are some flats next to the field.  Sometimes we can also hear the cars on the road behind the adventure playground.

Description of the view

for Italy.

Our school is situated at 227 Radzymińska street. It is one of the biggest streets in Warsaw. Behind the school there is a fun sports field, that can be seen from our school's library's window.

After getting out through the back door, we can see a grey sidewalk, with a blue wind rose on it. Next to the wind rose there is a big spruce. On the left and right, we can see two curbs. Near the curbs, there are some brown, wooden benches. We often sit there, when it's hot and sunny. We're going further, now we can see a big football pitch with white and yellow lines on it. It is usually noisy during breaks. The football pitch is surrounded by a red running track.

Behind the fence, there is a white building in the background of the view.

During the breaks we can do a lot of things in the school yard. Most of the children play football or walk on the track, but there are many more things to do. For example we can sit on the bench and talk with friends, or play volleyball. Younger pupils usually play in the sandpit and on the swings. What we like most, is walking on the track with friends. We always enjoy breaks.

Description of the view

for Greece.

We go to Primary School number 84. It’s situated at 227 Radzymińska Street, in Warsaw. Warsaw is the capital of Poland. We want to describe a view from our school window. The window is in the northern part of my school.

In the foreground we can see a big school yard, surrounded by benches from three sides. In the center of the yard there is a wind rose. On the right overhead corner there are planted three spruces. Amongst the spruces there are some bushes. The school and the yard are situated high, so there are three stairs on the edge of the yard. Next to the stairs, there’s a car park and a driveway. Behind it, on the right, there is a horse chestnut tree. In the background we can see a big football field and a court. There is a red racetrack around the fields. Behind the football pitch we can see a big modern house. It looks like a small castle. It is white with the red roof.

We believe, that place is modern, safe and very interesting. We like playing soccer and volleyball here. The racetrack is great, we love running there. We like this place, because we spend a lot of time every day here, and according to our opinion, everything is cool.

Description of the view

for Hungary.

Hi ! We are the students of the Primary School no. 84. The school is situated at 227 Radzymińska street in Warsaw. Warsaw is the capital of Poland. We want to describe the view from my school window. It is in the south.

In the foreground there is a bench. Beside the bench, there are some shrubs and a lawn. There is a red court for volleyball and basketball. Next, in the middle of the view, there is a modern and colourful playground for children. In the playground there is a pink slide and a yellow roundabout. Behind the playground there is a fence. There are many different trees: maples, oaks, poplars and mountain-ashes between the fence and a sidewalk behind the fence. Behind the fence there is a road. This is Blokowa Street. In the background we can see the House of Culture on the left and the football stadium on the right. In front of the House of Culture there is a car park. There are lots of cars in the car park.

We really like the school yard, because we can play basketball and volleyball here. At the House of Culture there is a lot of interesting and exciting extra-curricular activities. This place is very modern.

Description of the view.

for Spain.

Hi, we are the students of Primary School no. 84 in Warsaw. We want to tell you about the view from our windows at school.

In the middle of the view we can see a pitch. It is medium size and it's red. The net is hung on the two metal goalposts. We can play volleyball here. We can also play basketball on the red pitch, because there are also two baskets on the two metal goalposts.

In front of the green pitch there is a playground, and in this playground there are two swings and a slide in front of them. The slide and the swings are made of wood. Some elements of the slide are painted red and blue. Everything is on a sand-floor.

Behind these two pitches there is a wire fence and there is a road behind it. There are many trees on both sides of this road. Behind the road on the left side of our view we can see a building. It has got two floors and many windows. The building is white and the windows are blue. There is also a car park in front of this building.

We’re the students of Primary School number 84. Our school is named after Walerian Łukasiński. Our school is in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. We’re describing a view from the North side of our school. From the window we can see the school car park, some trees and Określona Street.

There are some trees opposite the school building: poplars, maples and limes. They are very big and tall. In front of the trees there are bushes with small white flowers. Behind the trees there is a dark green fence with a big gate for the cars. It is on the left. In the background we can see a small street. It is called Okreslona street. Near the street there is a house. It’s white and it’s got two windows. Its roof is purple. It’s got a nice garden and a black fence.

The view from our window is nice and quiet.

We go to the Primary school. We are the pupils of the sixth form . Our school is in Warsaw - the capital of Poland .

The view we want to describe is on the northern side of our school.

Out of the window we can see a quiet concrete street and a small car park.

Behind the car park there're bushes, tall chestnuts and a fence . On the left, there is also a gate.

The street behind the fence isn't noisy or busy and not many people walk

along it .Near the street there is a white ground floor house . We like this place because it's quiet and we can ride bicycles there and because there are beautiful trees.

for Great Britain.

Hello!

We are from Primary School no. 84 in Warsaw. Warsaw is the capital city of Poland. Our school is situated in Targówek district, it’s on the outskirts of Warsaw.

The school building is opposite a very busy street. We want to describe the view from the south-eastern part of our school. In front of the school there is a grey sidewalk and a green lawn. On the sidewalk we can see some green, wooden benches. On the lawn, behind the benches, there are some trees. They are tall and green. The trees are mainly birches and lime trees. When we look farther, we can see a green fence surrounding our school. On the right there is also a gate and the sidewalk that leads from the gate to the school entrance.

Behind the fence there is a sidewalk for pedestrians and we can also see the main street,  which is a kind of a highway. The street is very noisy and dangerous. There are many cars on the street and they are driving very fast. On the other side of the road, there are some small buildings. They are white, but we can’t see them clearly because of the tall trees just in front of our school.

We like the view from our school window. It is clean and comfortable place but too loud.

WHAT’S OUTSIDE MY CLASS WINDOW

For Italy

Our class is situated on one side of the school. From my class window I see many happy children playing with a ball in the schoolyard. Some children are running and others are going to the shop to buy something to eat. It’s break time now.

Opposite the school there are blocks of flats and many trees. The sky is cloudy. Only a few rays of light come from the sky. It will rain soon.

A flock of birds is flying over the school. They are going to warmer countries for the winter.

For Poland

When I look out the window of my classroom I see trees and bushes next to the fence surrounding the schoolyard. In the schoolyard the children are running, playing football on the football ground or talking. The caretaker is looking at the children with a  friendly smile. The Physical Education teacher is coming now with the children to start the class.

In front of the school there are blocks of flats with many balconies. People have colourful flowers at their balconies and windows.

For Greece

I am looking out the window of my classroom and I see many things. There are some chestnut trees and lots of bushes. On this side of the school, where my classroom is, there is a football ground surrounded by a high fence. Opposite the school there are many blocks of flats. There are beautiful flowers at the windows. A woman is washing the windows of her flat. In the schoolyard the children are playing, because it’s break time.

The weather is nice, warm and sunny. The birds are flying and there are a few white clouds in the sky.

For Hungary

I stand at the window of my classroom and I can see the schoolyard with the football ground surrounded by a high fence. Around the schoolyard there are many trees. On the side of the school where our classroom is there are many blocks of flats.

It is break time now and the children are in the schoolyard. Some of them are running, others are playing. A class is about to start the Physical Education class and the children are wearing their training suits. They are waiting for their teacher.

For Spain

From the window of my classroom my classmates and I can see a few blocks of flats, many big trees and the schoolyard where the pupils do their Physical Education classes. The schoolyard is surrounded by a high fence. Sometimes we can see birds flying over the school, cars, and some dogs running around the schoolyard.

For Turkey

The first thing I see when I look out the window of my classroom is the sky. Sometimes the sun warms up my face, but at other times the blue sky is my only friend. In the autumn months the birds fly over the school, going to warmer countries.

When I look down I see the schoolyard with the football ground, surrounded by a high fence. In the schoolyard there are children playing and running. The view is very nice, because they are all wearing school uniform, which is a pink shirt and grey skirts or trousers.

In front of the school there are many blocks of flats with flowers at their balconies.

WHAT’S OUTSIDE MY CLASSROOM WINDOW

For U.K.

My classroom is on the first floor. It is a very nice and clean classroom. Through the windows of my classroom I can see a large schoolyard with chestnut trees. During the breaks the children play football, talk or pick up chestnuts and play with them. There is a small shop on one side of the schoolyard, where children can buy sweets, water or fruit. There are also six benches where girls can stay and talk.
