weather centre visit

Hello! A group of twenty children of Gheorghe Titeica School, Constanta, students inthe third and fouth grade visited the local weather centre last week. They were interested and excited to discover the instruments used to predict weather changes and conditions. The meteorological platform was presented to them- they saw and touched the instruments and read the temperatures-in the air, on the ground, the air pressure and listened to specialists talking about clouds, rain, moisture in the air and other details.

Here are some photos of our weather reporters for October. Our pupils enjoyed being a weather reporter in English. It is 11 degrees in Orosháza on 15th October. The top temperature is 16 degrees and it is 8 degrees at night. It is sunny and cool. Our pupils have made a weather clock with moveable hands that they can set according to the day's weather.

Good evening Bursa. Heavy rains hit Bursa - one killed - schools closed.

It is raining for two days in Bursa. The temperature is fifteen degrees centigrade. In Bursa and its towns, schools are closed for today and Friday as transportation is limited because of the heavy rain. Also heavy rain caused flood and one old man died in his ground-floor home. Because flood waters entered his house. We are in Bursa streets with Neslihan now. How is the situation there, can you tell us?

As you see people are trying to sweep flood water from inside their houses. Excuse me, how do you feel?

My neighbours' houses are all under water. We are in a big loss.
