Here are some photos of making puppets and scenery for the European story. We have made wooden spoon puppets of the characters. You can see Mediterranean, the mermaid, her beloved Prince Tomis, two boys called Kuba and Marcin, their mum, King Lake Gyopáros, a yellow and blue bird, a horse, a Wicked Cold Fairy, a silver and a golden snake. We have made scenery for the play (volcano, forest, tower, bedroom). You can see how the common story the "European legend" was acted out with the puppets by our pupils.
'What's outside your window?' is our comenius project. Each partner school will explore the 'great outdoors', encouraging pupils to be more active, whilst being involved in intercultural dialogue about their environment and culture. Activities will include such things as describing the view from their window, comparing typical plants and creatures, investigating pollution, sharing traditional myths and legends, orienteering games and gardening .
