Exhibition in Hungary in 2012.

Exhibition in Hungary

During the school year 2011/2012, we informed the parents, pupils, visitors and local community about our Comenius project. We exhibited our project products, photos and displays about the partner countries. We have made a lot of products like books, puppets, scenery, props, booklets, drawings for our Hungarian story (Gyopárka fairy) and European legend. We have a lovely picture dictionary with drawings about the most important words of the common story, European legend. We have taken lots of photos about the activities so they were also displayed. We have invited parents, other schools and visitors to presentations where we shared our great project. An exhibiton was set up with the puppets, scenery and drawings of the European legend in the local culture house.

During the week 21st to 26th May 2012 we did lots of activities to find out more about our partner countries.  Each class picked one country to study in more detail.  We were able to use some of our previous Comenius project activities to help learn more about our partners, and we also got some useful information off of the teachers from our school who had been to project meetings in these countries.  At the end of the week, on Friday, we made a stall about our country in our junior hall so that all the other children in our school, as well as our parents could see what we had learned.
