Here are some photos of us finding out information about local animals during our orienteering course.
'What's outside your window?' is our comenius project. Each partner school will explore the 'great outdoors', encouraging pupils to be more active, whilst being involved in intercultural dialogue about their environment and culture. Activities will include such things as describing the view from their window, comparing typical plants and creatures, investigating pollution, sharing traditional myths and legends, orienteering games and gardening .

UK Orienteering
Pupils in year 3 and year 4 enjoyed finding out more about which creatures live in our school grounds. It was great fun doing an orienteering course to discover which creatures could be found in each location on the map. We used an aerial map of the school to help us.
We enjoyed it so much that we had a proper orienteering map done of our school so we hope to do more orienteering in the future.
